When you upload your titles to your music library, it is possible that the duration of your titles may be shorter than the duration of the original file.
This is because our platform automatically detects silences in an MP3 file, which is responsible for cutting the silent parts at the beginning and/or end of the file. Nevertheless, you can check the mix points of the file in question are well positioned (i.e. that they do not arrive too early in the song).
If the Mix point arrives too early in the song, it means that the Mix Point Detection Threshold is too high and must be lowered. You can do this under Settings > Broadcasting in your Radio Manager.
We recommend that you set the value between -25 and -10 dB, unless you prefer that the pieces overlap slightly, in which case the value should be between -80 and -50 dB.
Careful: only files added to the music library after changing your mix point detection threshold will be affected.
For files already downloaded, you have three choices:
- Delete them and upload them again to your music Library
- Manually edit their mix points
- Click on the “Calculate automatically” button in the mix point management.
