Now that you have added your music, you will now learn how to edit your tracks. These step is essential in order to facilitate the planning of your content.
EDIT TRACKS
Digital music contains metadata that stores information in the music file such as artist name, album title, album cover, etc... This information can be easily modified:
- Head over to your Music Library
- Hover over the track you would like to edit and click on the pencil
- Add the necessary information in the metadata editor
- Click on save
You will be able to modify:
- the title of your track
- the album
- the year
- the purchase link, which can be useful if you wish to be remunerated for each purchase made on iTunes, from your Radio
- the tags, to help organise your tracks
- the BPM, which indicates the tempo of the track
Top Tip: You can search for a file using the search bar above your files in the right-hand corner.
You can also edit multiple tracks at the same time. For this, you must:
- Head over to your Music Library
- Click on the album covers of the titles you want edit
- Click on the three dots next to Add a Playlist > Edit
- Add the information you want in the metadata editor
- Click on save
Top Tips:
- The recommended size for changing the cover of a title is 600x600 px.
- You can select all titles by clicking on the box above the covers.
- You can search for a file using the search bar above your files on the right-hand side.
