StudioKing is still in beta format, so you may experience the odd bug. You can reset the software by following these steps:
FOR WINDOWS
- Press the Windows and R keys at the same time a small window should open. In the field of this window, search
%appdata%
then press Enter and an explorer should open itself - Delete the StudioKing folder permanently (empty your bin)
- Restart StudioKing and it should work fine as the first time you installed it
FOR MAC OS
- Enter
~/Library/Application Support
and press Enter - Locate the StudioKing folder and delete it
- Restart StudioKing and it should work fine as the first time you installed it
If the problem persists, you may want to try using a different broadcasting software such as:
IF YOUR HARDWARE ISN’T SUPPORTED BY STUDIOKING
StudioKing is designed to be able to broadcast in the simplest possible way. At this time, the use of complex equipment within the software has not been studied. There is therefore a random nature to the detection of the equipment as a peripheral within the software.
In this case, the best thing to do is to use other software such as Mixxx or BUTT which are much more suitable for this type of use.
IF STUDIOKING IS CONSIDERED AS A VIRUS
As StudioKing is still in beta format, the software is not digitally signed and therefore not verified.
Your operating system may consider it as a virus (even if it's not).
In this case, we advise you to use another live broadcasting software such as :
IF YOU CAN'T STOP STUDIOKING FROM BROADCASTING LIVE
If your radio gets stuck in "Live" mode, download another software such as BUTT and use this other software to launch a short broadcast (a few seconds is enough).
Once you stop broadcasting with this other software, the "Live" mention will disappear.
